Ekrem İmamoğlu posters removed in Levent under police supervision: Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued the order

Ekrem İmamoğlu posters removed in Levent under police supervision: Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued the order

Altan Sancar documented the removal of posters featuring Ekrem İmamoğlu in Levent through a post on his social media account.

In a letter sent to the Istanbul Provincial Police Department dated March 24, the Prosecutor's Office had restricted the use of posters and banners belonging to 6 mayors, including İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, across Istanbul, and following the directive, posters belonging to these individuals had been removed from public spaces.

ORDER HAD BEEN ISSUED

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, with a new directive sent to the İBB in recent days, also banned the use of materials such as photographs, pictures, videos, and audio featuring Ekrem İmamoğlu.

In line with the directive issued, it was reported that no content showing Ekrem İmamoğlu could be displayed in metro, metrobus, ferry, and bus vehicles and stations operated by the İBB.

POSTERS REMOVED IN LEVENT

Journalist Altan Sancar documented that posters belonging to İmamoğlu were removed in Levent through a post on his social media account.
