AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan targeted Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu by referring to the billboards he saw on his way to the AKP congress.
Referring to the billboards by saying, "They claim to have done in 5 years what we couldn't do in 23 years," Erdoğan said, "Hey Ekrem efendi, you prove these, and then see what Erdoğan does!"
RESPONSE FROM İMAMOĞLU TO THOSE WORDS
Ekrem İmamoğlu did not remain indifferent to these words from AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan and used the following expressions:
The President's only concern today has once again been our achievements. My advice to him is that he should show the same consistent harshness he shows toward me, who has no immunity, to the US President who said, "Gaza will be US territory." For Gaza, which you have been acting as a patron for 2 years, you have not said a single word about these ambitious claims for 3 days.
