Ekrem İmamoğlu shares post following 'Super Cup' cancellation
Following the cancellation of the Super Cup match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe that was planned to be played in Saudi Arabia, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu shared a striking message of support for both teams.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu expressed his support for the decision by Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray not to take the field.
Following scandalous developments ahead of the Super Cup match, which was set to feature Super League champion Galatasaray and Ziraat Turkish Cup winner Fenerbahçe, both teams decided not to take the field after lengthy discussions.
Following these developments, reactions poured in. A post regarding the cancellation also came from IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
