Minister Yusuf Tekin has been ordered to pay 25 thousand lira in non-pecuniary damages after he told Ekrem İmamoğlu, while responding to a question about nursery and kindergarten debates in 2024, that "he must be inspired by the language of the terrorist groups he acts with, as he is challenging the rules of the rule of law."
The Istanbul 13th Civil Court of First Instance has ruled that Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin must pay 25 thousand lira in non-pecuniary damages for telling Ekrem İmamoğlu, while responding to a question about nursery and kindergarten debates in 2024, that "he must be inspired by the language of the terrorist groups he acts with, as he is challenging the rules of the rule of law."
