Ekrem İmamoğlu wishes 'great success' to Murat Kurum
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu congratulated the new ministers in a post on his social media account. İmamoğlu wished 'great success' to Murat Kurum, who was once his rival.
With a decision published in the Official Gazette, two cabinet changes took place simultaneously. Kemal Memişoğlu became the new Minister of Health, while Murat Kurum became the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu also published a message on his social media account wishing both individuals success. It was noted that İmamoğlu wished 'great success' to Murat Kurum, whom he competed against for Istanbul in the local elections.

I congratulate Istanbul Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu on becoming the Minister of Health and wish him success in his new role.
