Elevator falls 3 floors in KYK dormitory
An elevator accident at the Çubuk Girls' KYK Dormitory in Ankara has caused concern among students. The elevator fell from the 3rd floor to the basement level.
The incident occurred at a KYK dormitory for female students in the Çubuk district of Ankara. According to the information received, panic ensued after the elevator carrying students, who wanted to go from the 3rd floor to the ground floor, fell.
The female students, who were helped out of the elevator by dormitory staff, were taken to hospitals by medical teams as a precautionary measure for treatment.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On October 25, Zeren Ertaş, a student at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Adnan Menderes University, lost her life after an elevator fell at the Güzelhisar Girls' Dormitory. In the investigation regarding the incident, M.B. and H.T., officials from the elevator company, were arrested.
