Striking claim from Emine Alangoya about İnan Kıraç: 'He was taken away with his hands tied'

Emine Alangoya, the wife of businessman İnan Kıraç, stated that a team that arrived at their home recently took İnan Kıraç away by ambulance.

In her statement, Alangoya said that Kıraç was taken from his residence during the night accompanied by security forces and an ambulance, and that she does not currently know his whereabouts. Allegations of "abduction" had previously been raised regarding İnan Kıraç, a member of the Koç family and owner of Kıraç Holding, and his departure from the hospital where he was receiving treatment had sparked controversy.

THEY TOOK HIM WITH HIS HANDS TIED

According to a report by Oda TV, Alangoya made the following remarks regarding the events:

“On Thursday night, while İnan Bey was sleeping at home, security forces and an ambulance arrived at his residence at 3:00 AM. A team of 10 people entered the room where he was sleeping and woke him up by force, despite his objections. Even though he said, ‘I will come to the hospital in the morning, let me sleep,’ they tied his hands and placed him on a stretcher in the ambulance. They carried out the operation after removing the staff in the house.

I was not there due to a restraining order. It is essential for the public to know about these matters. I hope İnan Bey is well right now; we have no contact with him. We know he is in a hospital under the control of his guardians.”

''THE GALATASARAY COMMUNITY SHOULD MONITOR THIS PROCESS''

Pointing to the legal process İnan Kıraç is going through with his daughter İpek Kıraç, Alangoya made the following call:

“Unfortunately, incredible things are being done to İnan Bey. I invite the President and state officials, our high judiciary, the Galatasaray community, the conscientious public, and members of the press to monitor this process carefully.”

Alangoya stated that even when İnan Kıraç was returning home, a perception operation was conducted claiming he had been “abducted.” She said, “All of his assistants were released, and it turned out there was no abduction. No evil heart can explain such a conspiracy.”

Stating that a guardian was appointed as a result of the lawsuit filed by İnan Kıraç’s daughter İpek Kıraç, Alangoya evaluated the decision as follows:

“Those who have known him for 65 years say that this decision is incorrect, unjust, and flawed. İnan Bey was going to work and meeting his own needs. There were visits. They also put forward the claim that I was isolating him. There is a major conspiracy at play.”

''HE WAS SUBJECTED TO A PERCEPTION OPERATION''

Alangoya alleged that the lawyers appointed as guardians were around 25 years old and lacked sufficient experience regarding the management and care of İnan Kıraç’s companies:

“This decision was made despite legal, medical, and scientific opinions. İnan Bey has been subjected to a perception operation. Instead of defending himself, he does not want to speak due to the struggle with his daughter.”

Emphasizing that the legal process began after İnan Kıraç donated all his assets to the Galatasaray Education Foundation, Alangoya said, “The events started after this. His will to donate his assets in full to two foundations triggered intense legal and perception operations.”

''I SERVED THE KOÇ FAMILY FOR 52 YEARS''

Using the phrase “ugly insults and unfair insinuations” for the news reports about her, Alangoya stated, “I am 77 years old, and I served Koç Holding for 52 years. This operation has now become inextricable; the public should be informed about this matter.”
