Emine Ülker Tarhan returns to CHP: 'Diesel has reached 80 TL, I heard and came'
Emine Ülker Tarhan, who resigned from the CHP in 2014, has rejoined the party. CHP leader Özgür Özel pinned the party badge on Tarhan.
A surprise participation took place before the CHP's parliamentary group meeting.
Emine Ülker Tarhan, who resigned from the CHP in 2014, has rejoined the ranks of the CHP. Tarhan entered the group meeting hall together with Muharrem İnce.

Speaking at the podium, Tarhan said, "Diesel has reached 80 TL, I heard and came. You called and I came (to Özgür Özel), thank you."
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel pinned the party badge on Tarhan. Özel stated that Muharrem İnce made a significant contribution to Tarhan's return to the CHP and that he himself had also extended an invitation.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Emine Ülker Tarhan, a 24th-term CHP Ankara MP, had criticized the CHP leadership after the CHP and MHP nominated Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu as a joint candidate in the 2014 Presidential Elections. Following the elections, she resigned from the CHP on October 31, 2014.
Tarhan, who founded the Anatolia Party on November 14, 2014, dissolved her party on December 12, 2015, after receiving 0.06 percent of the vote in the 2015 general elections.
