Emrah Safa Gürkan rebels: 'Turkey has turned into a hell for the middle class'

The visa crisis in Turkey continues.

Most recently, it was alleged that applications to Germany, Spain, and Italy have been closed until the end of May, with the reason given that appointment slots are completely full.

Historian Prof. Dr. Emrah Safa Gürkan reacted to the claim.

"THE MIDDLE CLASS BEARS THE FINANCIAL BURDEN AND RECEIVES NOTHING IN RETURN"

Prof. Dr. Gürkan said the following:

"Turkey has turned into a hell for the middle class. No vacation, no culture, no environment, no well-planned cities, no proper education system. They bear the financial burden and receive nothing in return.

Now some will come out and say there is no middle class. Perhaps that is true in terms of income, but the expectations of an educated white-collar university graduate are not the same as those of a blue-collar worker. The promises made to them are not the same either.

"EVEN IF THEY GO ABROAD, THEY CANNOT GET A VISA"

The man has studied for years, improved himself, studied while others were playing billiards, learned a language, or whatever it may be.

You told this person that in the system, TR is a developing country, study, learn, and finally, well, they studied, was this it?

They cannot earn money, even if they do,

they live in ugly cities, they get angry when others do not follow the rules while they do,

if they go abroad, they cannot get a visa,

if they want to take a taxi, they cannot find one, and if they do, it is a mystery how they will be treated.

"THESE ARE NOT THE OPPORTUNITIES THIS CLASS WANTS TO USE"

They feel forced to pay for their child's education out of their own pocket (I am actually against this, but that is the situation),

etc. etc. So it is not that there are no opportunities in the country, there are. But these are not the opportunities this class wants to use.

The system has broken the contract. Under these conditions, why should a person produce or improve themselves?

"MASSES ARE CONTROLLED VERY EASILY"

The unfortunate fate of the Turkish textile industry has spread across the country. Cheap labor, zero branding, then electricity is very expensive, the fat is melting, let it get even more expensive.

They are still asking 'what are we going to do.' You could start, for example, by becoming aware of your social class and not just talking about politics through symbols.

I mean, even if the masses are educated, they are controlled very easily here.
