Ender Saraç responds to sexual abuse allegations through his lawyer

The allegation that doctor Ender Saraç sexually abused his son, Mikail Saraç, has sparked debate on social media.

According to the allegations, Saraç's son, Mikail Saraç, who is in the 8th grade, told his school counselor on December 5, 2023, that he had been abused.

'ABSOLUTELY AND CLEARLY FALSE'

Speaking to 12punto following the allegations, Saraç said, "Could a person like me do such a thing? I have been subjected to slander, and I am very distressed. It is absolutely and clearly false. I have initiated legal proceedings. I will share the documents with the public shortly."

"First and foremost, we would like to express our deep sadness at having to make this statement against the slander directed at our client. There can be no justifiable reason for a mother to use a child, who is just preparing to enter adolescence, as material in a divorce case for the purpose of obtaining unfair gain. It is a legal and conscientious necessity that no one should be a tool in inflicting a lifelong trauma on a child just to obtain a large sum from our client, Dr. Ender SARAÇ.

We would like to emphasize that the marriage between our client and his wife, Benan SARAÇ, has been unsustainable for a long time, and the parties have been living separately for over 3 years.

From the moment our client took action to end a marriage that existed only on paper, he was threatened with various edited video recordings. Following his refusal to yield to these threats and his filing for divorce, and after the court issued a confidentiality order and a publication ban regarding the content of the case, this ugly, unrealistic, and blood-curdling plan was prepared, and a perception operation was launched via social media.

At this point, we would like to state that Benan SARAÇ, who could not speak due to a protection order issued against her, did not hesitate to sacrifice her child. As the public will appreciate, if such an incident had truly occurred, no mother would have kept this video in her possession for years to use it for blackmail.

Undoubtedly, if anyone, let alone a mother, even suspected such a thing, the first thing they would do is apply to the judiciary. Instead of applying to the judiciary after the divorce case was filed against her, we leave it to the public to judge the purpose of pressuring a young child to make statements against a father he has not seen for months, and publishing a document that should have been completely confidential through certain underground accounts without even blurring the child's name.

Furthermore, we would like to point out that the fact that the cat named Boncuk, seen in the video presented as the alleged proof of the ugly slander attributed to our client, passed away exactly 6 years ago is in itself highly significant in showing the gravity of the situation. Not involving children in extremely difficult and traumatic processes like divorce is an extremely important duty and responsibility imposed not only on mothers and fathers but on the entire society.

Reminding that society should take the child under protection against parents who succumb to their individual ambitions, we hope that no one will be a tool in this smear campaign conducted on social media.
