President Erdoğan, who is in New York for the 80th United Nations General Assembly, met with investors at the conference organized by the Turkey-US Business Council at the Turkish House (Türkevi).
The conference was attended by Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Chief of Staff Hasan Doğan, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün, President of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) Nail Olpak, and Turkey-US Business Council (TAİK) Chairman Murat Özyeğin.

President Erdoğan attended the Turkish Investment Conference in the Sectoral Round Table format, organized by the Turkey-US Business Council in New York.
Erdoğan: "The $100 billion trade volume target we set with my dear friend President Trump in 2019 continues to be our shared goal. We expect the momentum in our relations to accelerate by evaluating cooperation opportunities in sectors covering energy, cyber, and space.
Our strong logistics infrastructure, modern ports, and advanced road and rail networks make Turkey a strategic hub for investors. We continue to take steps to consolidate a transparent, competitive, and secure market environment that will make Turkey more attractive to investors.
Our defense industry cooperation must be freed from obstacles and restrictions as soon as possible, in accordance with the spirit of our alliance."
