President Erdoğan has traveled to Germany to watch the Turkey-Netherlands football match.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has traveled to Berlin to watch the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) quarter-final match between the Turkish National Football Team and the Netherlands National Team.
Erdoğan, who flew to Berlin on the "TUR" aircraft to support the National Team as they face the Netherlands at the Berlin Olympic Stadium for a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament hosted by Germany, was seen off at Atatürk Airport by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, AKP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, and other officials.
Erdoğan was accompanied on his trip to Germany by his wife, Emine Erdoğan, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Communications Directorate Çağatay Özdemir.
