Erdoğan claim regarding Ekrem İmamoğlu! 'He may request an appointment...'

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel held a meeting, following which a striking claim was made.

Bizim TV Editor-in-Chief Şaban Sevinç brought up the claim that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu could request an appointment with Erdoğan.

Participating in a live broadcast on TV100, Sevinç evaluated the "softening" climate in politics created by CHP leader Özel's visit to Erdoğan. He stated that he had spoken with people in İmamoğlu's circle, who said they were "definitely not uncomfortable with the Özel-Erdoğan meeting, but on the contrary, were pleased."

Sevinç said, "Ekrem İmamoğlu may even request an appointment from President Erdoğan."
