Erdoğan makes statement on meeting with Özgür Özel, sets a date
President Erdoğan answered questions from journalists as he left the April 23 reception held at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan stated, "We will come together with Mr. Özel next week."
Erdoğan attended the reception hosted by TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the opening of the TBMM and the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
Chatting with journalists, Erdoğan responded to the question, "Will you meet with Özgür Özel?"
HE HAD A BRIEF MEETING WITH ÖZGÜR ÖZEL
AKP Group Deputy Chairman Emin Akbaşoğlu stated that they invited CHP Leader Özgür Özel to have tea in the marble hall adjacent to the ceremony hall where the reception was held at the TBMM.
The first meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Özgür Özel thus took place.
The meeting lasted approximately 15 minutes.

As he was leaving, President Erdoğan told journalists, "We will meet with Mr. Özgür Özel next week."
