Erdoğan prepares to dismiss two ministers: 'It's imminent'

Talk of a cabinet reshuffle has begun to circulate loudly in Ankara's political circles. According to information leaked from AKP sources, the replacement of two ministers is on the agenda.

According to a report by HalkTV, Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloğlu has found himself in trouble due to an 'off the record' statement he made to journalists regarding a data breach. Uraloğlu has been trying to salvage the situation for days.

Pointing to Uraloğlu, who spoke vaguely by saying, "There is no current data breach," İsmail Küçükkaya said, "As far as I can see, there could be serious changes both in the BTK and the Ministry of Transport."

Accordingly, the other minister on the chopping block is Minister of Agriculture İbrahim Yumaklı. Already at the center of criticism due to weeks of protests by farmers, the dumping of tomatoes on roads, and tractor demonstrations, İbrahim Yumaklı is now in trouble over the price of ground meat.

Journalist Hilal Köylü stated that Minister Yumaklı, who found the price of 540 liras for ground meat to be 'normal,' is on his way out.

According to Ankara's political circles, the replacement of the two ministers is imminent.
