Erdoğan received a briefing on the earthquake at the AFAD crisis center in Istanbul
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received a briefing on the earthquake that occurred in the city at the crisis center established at the Istanbul Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
President Erdoğan arrived in Istanbul following the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred off the coast of Silivri in the Sea of Marmara.
Erdoğan, who visited the crisis center at the Istanbul Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Authority in Hasdal, was given a comprehensive briefing by the relevant ministers and officials.
President Erdoğan left the facility after the meeting, which lasted approximately 1 hour.
Erdoğan was accompanied during his visit by AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik and Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun.
