Erdoğan signs off on dismissal of three deputy ministers: Published in the Official Gazette

Appointment decisions made by the Presidency have been published in the Official Gazette; with this decision, new Deputy Ministers have been appointed to 4 ministries.

With the decision published in the Official Gazette under the signature of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Deputy Minister of National Education Kemal Şamlıoğlu was dismissed and replaced by Muhammed Bilal Macit, the General Manager of R&D Incentives at the Ministry of Industry and Technology. In the Ministry of National Defense, Deputy Minister Celal Sami Tüfekçi was dismissed and replaced by Musa Heybet. In the Ministry of Health, Deputy Minister Huzeyfe Yılmaz was dismissed and replaced by Yasin Ayfer Erkoç. Muhammet Kasım Gönüllü was appointed as Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology.

Furthermore, with the decision, Ankara Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Ali Ayvazoğlu was dismissed from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Erhan Karakaya was appointed as the Ankara Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, while Bolu Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Hakan Doğanay was appointed as the Mersin Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism.

In the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Deputy General Managers of National Technology İlknur İnam and İrfan Keskin were dismissed. Emre Dabak was appointed as Deputy General Manager of National Technology.

According to the decision, in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Yalçın Eyigün was appointed as General Manager of Infrastructure, Burak Aykan as General Manager of European Union and Foreign Relations, Ünal Baylan as General Manager of Maritime Affairs, Necmiye Leyla Akıncı as General Manager of Personnel, Salih Tan as General Manager of Shipyards and Coastal Structures, Murat Baştor as General Manager of Transport Services Regulation, Kamuran Yazıcı as Head of Guidance and Inspection, Selami Yazıcı as Head of the Transport, Maritime and Communications Research Center, İbrahim Kolcu as Head of the Information Technology Department, Enes Çakmak as General Manager and Chairman of the Board of the General Directorate of State Airports Authority, Mustafa Akkaya as Deputy General Manager of the General Directorate of State Airports Authority, Selim Koçbay as General Manager and Chairman of the Board of TÜRASAŞ (Turkey Rail System Vehicles Industry Corporation), and Ufuk Yalçın as General Manager and Chairman of the Board of TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş.

With the decision, Orhan Aydın was appointed as President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Mesut Güner as Vice President, and Ahmet Yozgatlıgil as a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, Ahmet Berat Çonkar was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), and Kerim Taşkıran and Muhammed Talha Pamukçu were appointed as members of the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ). Murat Kazancı was appointed to the vacant position of Vice President at the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities.

Additionally, Muhammed Salih Çetiner, Mustafa Özkaya, and İbrahim Yüzer were appointed to the vacant positions of Deputy General Manager at the General Directorate of Forestry. İzmir Regional Director of Forestry Zafer Derince was appointed as the Antalya Regional Director of Forestry.

With the decision, Competition Board member Berat Uzun was dismissed. Rıdvan Duran was appointed to complete the remaining term.
