Erdoğan made important statements at a joint press conference with Uzbekistan President Mirziyoyev.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan announced that the trade volume target between Uzbekistan and Turkey is 5 billion dollars.
Erdoğan's statements:
We discussed the steps we can take in concrete areas such as trade, agriculture, transportation, and culture. We signed various agreements. We are pleased with the increase in Turkish investments in Uzbekistan.
TRADE TARGET IS 5 BILLION DOLLARS
We believe that we will reach our 5 billion dollar trade volume target as soon as possible.
With its young and dynamic population approaching 37 million, Uzbekistan's regional and global value is increasing every day.
Today, in addition to our bilateral cooperation, we evaluated regional and international issues during this difficult process the world is going through. Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza formed the main agenda of our consultations. I thank my brother Shavkat for his support for an independent Palestinian state.

Our initiatives regarding all legal processes, especially the ICJ, continue. Those who provide arms support to Israel must also stop being partners in this crime. I invite them to take responsibility for the immediate establishment of a ceasefire.
Just as we support Uzbekistan, they stand by us. The 306 disaster houses that Uzbekistan had built in Hatay are a symbol of our brotherhood.
We will present our state medal to Mirziyoyev today.
