Erdoğan warns İYİ Party's Kodal, who joined AKP, with 'look at me': Gives his first instruction
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, who pinned badges on the names joining his party at the AKP participation ceremony, warned Yalvaç Mayor Mustafa Kodal, who switched from the İYİ Party to the AKP, in a humorous tone.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the program held at the AKP Congress Center on the occasion of his party's 24th anniversary.
Following the event, a ceremony was held for the participation of some mayors elected from different parties, primarily from Aydın, into the AKP.
At this ceremony, President Erdoğan personally pinned the party badges of all the mayors except for Aydın Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu.
One of the names who received a badge was Yalvaç Mayor Mustafa Kodal, who joined the AKP from the İYİ Party.
'LOOK AT ME...'
A notable moment occurred as Kodal stepped onto the stage and headed toward President Erdoğan. Shaking hands with Kodal, Erdoğan said, "Look at me! You need to work very hard... And you also need to lose weight."
President Erdoğan then pinned the party badge on Mustafa Kodal, who was born in 1992 and is a mechanical engineer. Kodal's wife also accompanied him to the ceremony.
