Emphasis on the 'opening process' in Erdoğan's October 29 message! 'Towards the goal of a terror-free Turkey...'

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued a message for the October 29 Republic Day.

In a lengthy statement, Erdoğan also provided messages regarding the new opening process, which is architected by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli and is being conducted with the DEM Party and terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, referred to as a 'terror-free Turkey'.

Erdoğan stated, "We are moving with confident steps towards the goal of a terror-free Turkey, where our 86 million people will live in peace, security, tranquility, and prosperity. Without giving any credit to the merchants of chaos who target our national unity and solidarity, we will continue, God willing, to overcome obstacles, spoil games, and leave the ambitions of those pursuing expansionist goals unfulfilled."

Erdoğan's message is as follows:

“On this important day, which is one of the peaks of our history full of victories; I wholeheartedly congratulate the October 29 Republic Day of each of our 86 million citizens within our borders, the Turkish Cypriot people, and our brothers and sisters abroad.

Likewise, I extend my gratitude on my own behalf and on behalf of my nation to all our friends who share our joy, with whom we cultivate our garden of civilization together, and with whom we inherit a common past and cultural heritage."

"Today, we are celebrating the 102nd anniversary of the founding of our Republic with pride as a nation. I hope that this important day, when our ideal of independence and future is embodied in the unconditional sovereignty of the nation, will be auspicious for our country, our nation, and all of humanity.

I once again commemorate with gratitude all the members of our Grand National Assembly, who paved the way to the Republic by directing and managing the National Struggle, especially the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. I remember with mercy the heroes who made these lands our homeland with their blood and lives for centuries, from the first raids in Ahlat and Malazgirt to the Epic of Çanakkale, from the War of Independence to the July 15 Resistance.

I would like to declare once again today the truth that the whole world knows: We are both a strong nation and a deep-rooted state. The sun on our Presidential seal and the 16 stars around it represent our thousands-year-old state tradition. Each of these states, which we founded with the ideal of 'eternal existence', is a badge of honor and glory for our national identity; a sign of the power and mercy of our noble nation that shapes the world."
