Erdoğan's advisor Cesur announced he would boycott Demirören: He deleted the post shortly after

Cesur announced on his X account that he would boycott Kanal D and the Demirören Group in reaction to a Coca-Cola advertisement featuring Sinem Ünsal and Ozan Akbaba, the lead actors of the series Uzak Şehir broadcast on Kanal D. Cesur later deleted his post.

The fact that Uzak Şehir lead actors Sinem Ünsal and Ozan Akbaba appeared in a Coca-Cola advertisement sparked reactions. Coca-Cola has been facing backlash for some time due to its perceived support for Israel's occupation policies. 

The Coca-Cola post by Ünsal and Akbaba also drew reactions on social media. One of these individuals was Presidential Advisor İsmail Cesur. 

Presidential Advisor İsmail Cesur announced on his X social media account that he would boycott both Kanal D and the Demirören Group to which it belongs. However, Cesur later removed his post. 

Cesur's post was as follows:

"I don't know who these two are, I don't know the series. Unless there is a match or something, I am not someone who watches Kanal D anyway. But from now on, I will not watch Kanal D or any channel in the group it belongs to, and I will boycott them as long as they provide space for brands that support Zionism.

By the way, the fact that the vast majority of Turkish series feed on immorality has once again come to light, even if it was on another occasion."
