The news of Kılıç's death was shared by Chief Advisor to the President Cemil Ertem on his social media account X.
In his statement, Ertem said, "We have lost our valued colleague, Chief Advisor to the President Hamdi Kılıç. I am very saddened. May God have mercy on him, may he rest in peace. I wish patience to his family."
