Erdoğan's personal physician Cevdet Erdöl: 'Private hospitals are a burden on the public'

Stating that private hospitals transfer doctors with high salaries, Erdöl said, "Removing private hospitals from being a burden on the public is a vital necessity for public health."
In his post, Erdöl said, "The private sector is transferring qualified physicians from public hospitals with high salaries and attractive opportunities. Although this situation is masked by claims that 'doctors are going abroad,' the real issue is that private hospitals are fueled by greed for profit.
These transfers, which hollow out public hospitals, are dominated by the rising co-payments of the private sector.
