Erdoğan's 'red card' jab at CHP: 'They were showing them to each other'
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan attacked the opposition in a social media post. Regarding the CHP's 'red card' campaign, Erdoğan stated, "We later saw that they were showing the cards to each other."
Erdoğan reiterated his 'red card' remarks from his speech at the 7th Ordinary Congress of the AKP Women's Branch at the Ankara Sports Hall on his social media account.
Using the phrase "In the CHP, they were showing the red cards to each other," AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan shared the following on his social media account:
"The main opposition tried to do something with a red card for a while, but like everything else they do, they botched it.
We later understood that they were actually showing the cards to each other.
The mayor of city A to the mayor of city B, the former chairman to the new chairman, and their hooligans in the media and on social media are constantly showing cards to one another.
Now, they are consoling themselves with the slogans of marginal leftist organizations that have the blood of soldiers, police, and many patriotic children of the nation on their hands.
They have turned the party founded by Gazi Mustafa Kemal into a mascot, a toy, and a prop for marginal leftist structures.
They chant slogans from the parliamentary podium like a 23rd of April school play, and talk to each other with slogans like 'card revolutionaries'.
It is such a political party that it attracts every stray, foul-mouthed, marginal, and lazy person around like a lightning rod.
Let them continue to speak with the jargon of leftist terrorist organizations.
Let them close their eyes to everything except their political careers.
We will work, we will run, and we will be concerned with raising our country to a higher level every day."
