Erdoğan's speech at the reception interpreted as a 'solution process message'

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan made statements at the October 29 reception held at the Palace. Erdoğan's speech, from which messages on various agendas from the economy to politics were expected, drew attention.

The highlights from Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

“As long as we keep the internal front strong, neither terrorist organizations nor the evil forces that feed them will be able to achieve their goals. There is a truth they do not understand. The Republic of Turkey is the final representative of our thousands of years of state experience. Since its establishment, our republic has had some erroneous choices. None of these are enough to overshadow our human values.

This nation is a noble nation that has managed to be reborn from its ashes despite all the attacks it has been subjected to. We are on the eve of a new, powerful beginning. Just as we crowned the National Struggle with victory, we will also bring this struggle to success. Our nation, which has believed since eternity that everything is transient, has defined the 'eternal state'."

MESSAGE ON 'PAST RECKONINGS'

"Our process of accepting every person within the borders of our state as fair and equal after establishing our republic may have been a bit painful. But I think we have achieved this in the end. I believe we need to leave past reckonings behind and turn our gaze toward the Century of Turkey. In such a period, it has become more vital for 85 million to unite around the Century of Turkey.”

SHOULD BE EVALUATED WITHOUT PREJUDICE

"We are in a period where historical developments are taking place in the world and in our region, and the doors of a political and economic restructuring process are being opened. In such a period, it has become much more important and vital for 85 million of us to unite together around the vision of the Century of Turkey.

For this, it is essential that we, as a country and a nation, rapidly solve our political, social, and economic problems. We believe it would be more beneficial to evaluate the approaches recently put forward under the leadership of our People's Alliance partner without prejudice, in light of this broad background."
