Erdoğan's statement on terror: Our unfinished business...

Making statements following the Cabinet Meeting and drawing attention to Turkey's terror problem, AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan also issued a statement on his social media account.

In his statement, Erdoğan, who used the phrase "Our unfinished business in Syria due to promises made by our allies...", posted the following on his account:

"The economic development of our region and its attainment of political peace and stability are only possible through the elimination of the terror threat.                                                                                                                     

We will patiently continue our struggle until we completely drain the terror swamp in Northern Iraq. 

We will definitely complete our unfinished business in Syria, due to promises made by our allies, when the time and hour comes.

As we have always said, we have no designs on anyone's land or sovereignty.

We are only fighting against terrorists, who are the common enemy of Turkey and humanity.

We will strike the scalpel to the separatist organization, whose room for maneuver has narrowed significantly, in the coming period.

We will not hesitate to do whatever is necessary so that our children may live in a climate free of terror."
