Erhan Usta moves into the parliamentary office of imprisoned Can Atalay

İYİ Party MP Erhan Usta has moved into the office in Parliament that was vacated by Can Atalay.

Following the reading of the decision to revoke Atalay's parliamentary membership in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly on January 30, a sign bearing Erhan Usta's name was hung on the door of the vacated office.

It was announced that Usta's belongings have been moved into the office, which had remained empty for months and had been filled with documents sent in Atalay's name.

Usta, who served as the İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman during Meral Akşener's tenure as Chair, resigned from his post after Müsavat Dervişoğlu was elected Chair.

Continuing his work as an İYİ Party MP, Usta vacated his office allocated for the İYİ Party Group in the TBMM Main Building and moved to the building reserved for members of parliament. The office vacated by Atalay was deemed suitable for Usta.
