Ersan Şen targets Özgür Özel, who faced provocation at a martyr's funeral! 'Learn a lesson from this now!'

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel attended the funeral ceremony in Manisa for Infantry Contracted Private Enis Budak, who was martyred as a result of an attack by PKK terrorists in the Claw-Lock Operation region in Northern Iraq.

A group at the mosque provoked the martyr's funeral by chanting slogans against Özel.

While the events at the martyr's funeral remain a hot topic, Prof. Dr. Ersan Şen, speaking on Sözcü TV, reacted to Özel during a live broadcast.

Şen argued that it was a mistake for the CHP not to sign the joint declaration regarding the terrorist attacks, which was issued with the signatures of the group deputy chairmen of the AKP, MHP, IYI Party, and Saadet Party during the budget law proposal negotiations in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

Şen said, "You are being booed in the middle of a mosque in your own hometown, your wreath is being torn apart; learn a lesson from this now!"

"It's a declaration... for God's sake... just sign it and move on, brother, don't you know these will be used against you politically!" said Ersan Şen, continuing his remarks:

"You are the Chairman of the CHP, look at the situation you have gotten yourself into. You are being booed in the middle of a mosque in your hometown of Manisa, you are barely escaping with your life. Your wreath is being torn apart. This is not something that can be swallowed. Learn a lesson from this now, listen to the street!"
