The Erzurum Governor's Office has issued general orders regarding security measures at the Palandöken Ski Center.

The order states that "if individuals are identified skiing under the influence of alcohol on the slopes and endangering the safety of others, their ski passes, known as skipasses, will be canceled."

MEASURES LISTED

A general order has been issued for the Palandöken Ski Center, where national judo athlete Emre Yazgan lost his life during an avalanche disaster last week.

The order, signed by Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, lists the measures that must be taken by all public institutions and private businesses located at the Palandöken Ski Center.

PASSES WILL BE CANCELED

Among the orders are the preparation of warning signs for dangerous areas, a ban on unauthorized nature hikes, and a prohibition on skiing under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, a provision noting that the Ski Federation will form a 3-person team of licensed ski instructors who know the region well drew attention.
