Ahmet Aramaz, known as Öksüz Ahmet, a well-known figure in Ankara's underworld, engaged in a clash with police officers attempting to apprehend him. During the incident, Aramaz shot himself with the weapon he was carrying. Investigations revealed that Aramaz had escaped from the closed prison where he was serving his sentence.

According to a report by T24, Ahmet Aramaz, known as an organized crime syndicate leader, was recently apprehended and taken into custody by teams from the Ankara Police Department's Organized Crime Bureau.

Aramaz, who had a finalized 17-year prison sentence due to previous trials, was handed over to the Ankara Courthouse by police following processing at the police station, and subsequently delivered to the closed prison in Sincan under the instructions of the prosecutor's office.

However, despite being required to remain in a closed prison, Aramaz was transferred to an open prison for reasons yet to be determined. Having escaped from the open prison in recent days, Aramaz was reported to the Ankara Police Department by the prison administration via the prosecutor's office. The police resumed their pursuit of Aramaz.
