Mine workers at Eti Krom A.Ş., who were seeking their rights and presenting their demands, were threatened by company owner Ali Rıza Yıldırım.

According to footage shared on social media by journalist Evren Demirdaş, Ali Rıza Yıldırım said, "I will put everyone out on the street tomorrow. This is your job. Do not answer me. This place was locked under the state. It was neither making money nor losing money. I bought this place and brought it to this state."
