Exam questions were leaked: Detention warrants issued for 7 people

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued detention warrants for 7 people as part of an investigation into the leaking of exam questions by FETÖ members.

According to the statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention warrants were issued for 5 suspects identified as having received the questions during an investigation launched after it was determined that the questions for the Military High School Entrance Exams (ALS) held in 2011 and 2015 were seized by organization members before the exams and distributed to members of the organization.

In an investigation launched after it was determined that candidates close to the organization were ensured to pass by coding candidate numbers during the 2015 interviews for the Gendarmerie Petty Officer Basic Training Course (JATEK) and the Gendarmerie Petty Officer Vocational School (JAMYO), detention warrants were issued for 2 suspects, one of whom is an active police officer and the other an active military personnel.

It was noted that operations to apprehend the suspects are ongoing in 3 provinces, centered in Ankara, by teams from the Ankara Provincial Security Directorate's Counter-Terrorism Branch.
