The investigation also aims to uncover whether there was any third-party intervention in his death.
BONE AND SOIL SAMPLES WILL BE COLLECTED
It was stated that the delegation tasked with the examination at the cemetery consists of 3 forensic medicine experts, 1 chemist, and 1 autopsy technician. The delegation is expected to collect bone samples from Kozinoğlu's remains and samples from the grave soil.
The collected samples will be used in examinations to clarify the cause of death and to evaluate the possibility of third-party intervention, which is being investigated in the case file.
The exhumation process was previously scheduled for Friday, September 11, but the procedure had been postponed. The work that began at the cemetery today is considered one of the critical stages of the investigation.
