As the expected storm in the Black Sea reached speeds of 60 kilometers per hour, the waves crashing against the rocks at Amasra Port reached a height of 15 meters.
The storm expected in the Black Sea, for which the General Directorate of Meteorology issued consecutive warnings, began to take effect after 15:00. Off the coast of Amasra in Bartın, wind speeds reached 60 kilometers per hour. Due to the severe storm, the waves reached heights of several meters, while the waves crashing against the rocks at the Amasra Small Port area reached 15 meters.

Due to the storm and the waves, police teams cordoned off the small port area to prevent citizens from approaching the zones hit by the waves. Police teams stationed in the area warned and turned back citizens who attempted to cross into the rocky area to take photos or throw stones into the sea.
