Expert committee conducts inspection regarding fire at entertainment center in Beşiktaş
An expert committee appointed regarding the fire at the entertainment center located under a 16-story building in Beşiktaş has conducted an inspection.
Investigation efforts at the scene continue regarding the fire that broke out yesterday on Gönenoğlu Street on Yıldız Posta Avenue in Gayrettepe, which resulted in 29 deaths and 1 injury.
In this context, the appointed expert committee and crime scene investigation teams arrived at the entertainment center where the fire broke out.
The teams left the scene after an inspection that lasted approximately one hour.

Fire department teams also participated in the work. Police also took security measures around the building.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On April 2, 2024, a fire broke out on the ground floor of a 16-story building used as a nightclub in Gayrettepe, Istanbul.
While 29 people lost their lives in the fire, one person was injured.
It was stated that those who lost their lives were workers employed in the restoration work of the nightclub.
Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, three prosecutors and two civil inspectors were assigned to the case.
