Expert report in the October 10 massacre indictment was signed under duress!

According to the report by Cengiz Anıl Bölükbaş from T24, it has emerged that two intelligence police officers were forced to sign the expert report that formed the basis of the October 10 Massacre indictment, which was prepared regarding the documents found on Yunus Durmaz, the organizer of the October 10 massacre and the Gaziantep emir of ISIS, following his death. The indictment includes correspondence between the police officers on this matter. The correspondence alleges that former Intelligence Department Deputy Head Kerim Altıay, who was tasked with conducting the examination, pressured the other two intelligence police officers to sign the report.

A lawsuit was filed against police officer Serkan Dinçer for "membership in an armed terrorist organization", and against former Ankara Deputy Police Chief Murat Çelik, former Organized Crime Branch Manager Kerem Gökay Öner, and former Branch Deputy Manager Şevket Demircan for "committing a crime on behalf of an organization without being a member", "violation of confidentiality", and "misconduct in office", on the grounds that they shared information and documents with 'FETÖ' fugitive Cevheri Güven. The indictment includes striking allegations regarding the October 10 Massacre.

Former Intelligence Department Deputy Head Kerim Altıay had been tasked with examining the documents found on Yunus Durmaz, who organized ISIS's suicide bombings in Turkey and served as its Gaziantep emir, following his death. The indictment contains correspondence indicating that the other two intelligence personnel tasked with the examination were forced to sign the expert report, which was prepared after the examination and formed the basis of the indictment for the October 10 Massacre, in which 104 people died.

'HE MUST HAVE SIGNED EVERYTHING OUT OF FEAR'

The correspondence included in the indictment features messages sent by the defendant Serkan Dinçer, who worked at the Intelligence Presidency between 2014 and 2017, to a person registered as “P Yusuf J3”—who is considered to have used a code name in his phone book—and an individual named “P Fatih Güzelocak”.

The indictment states that Dinçer served in the expert process during the October 10 Train Station Massacre investigation and knew the experts closely. It was reported that in his messages, Dinçer shared a news article revealing that documents belonging to ISIS Gaziantep emir Yunus Durmaz were examined by intelligence police officers as “experts”, and asked, “The signature in the middle is Cengiz Y.'s, whose is the other signature?” Following this, it was seen that he wrote, “The first signature is Kerim's, the second is Cengiz Y.'s, the third is A.'s. The Zaman newspaper report says Kerim Altıay signed the report.”

According to the correspondence, Dinçer told Güzelocak, “I remember this incident... Cengiz Y. had said they received a total of 7-8 thousand from this job. The idiots did it for money... A. didn't even want to do it. Kerim Altıay had talked to him, saying you will do it. A. is a smart man, but he must have signed everything out of fear.”

In the correspondence, after Güzelocak said, “There didn't seem to be a problem in the indictment submitted to the court, but if the lawyers question this report in the future, it will come out then,” it was seen that Dinçer replied, “If the documents have already fallen here, they will be questioned.”
