Explosive claim about Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı from Hüseyin Kocabıyık, who was expelled from the AKP! 'He said, "I am disgusted by the word Turk"'

Former AKP MP Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı, known by the nickname Yeliz, has targeted the founding of the Republic of Turkey with the words, "We cannot move forward without settling accounts with the 1923 coup."

While reactions to Çamlı's scandalous remarks poured in, former MP Hüseyin Kocabıyık, who was expelled from the AKP, made a claim about Çamlı that is set to dominate the agenda.

Describing Çamlı as "one of the privileged MPs of the AK Party and Erdoğan," Kocabıyık shared an incident he witnessed involving Çamlı during a party meeting in 2018.

Claiming that Çamlı said "I am disgusted by the word Turk" at the meeting in question, Kocabıyık added, "He said even harsher things, which I will not write here."

Kocabıyık used the following expressions in his post on his X account:

"This man took the floor at an AK Party meeting held in 2018 and said, 'I am disgusted by this word Turk.' He said even harsher things, which I will not write here. These words were spoken in front of 50 MPs. Bekir Bozdağ was there among the ministers. Mustafa Elitaş, the Deputy Group Chairman, was there. I immediately took the floor and gave this man a piece of my mind. Out of the group of 50 MPs, only Ankara MP Haluk İpek and Denizli MP Şahin Tin supported me. They reminded this man of the AK Party's program. The minister, the deputy group chairman, and the other MPs just watched this man who was openly and publicly insulting our nationality.

As a matter of principle, I do not talk about events I have witnessed in places where I have been in the past. I have not mentioned this incident until today. But this insolent, ignorant person does not stop. Now he is attacking our republic, calling the republic a 'bloody coup' and so on.

I do not take this man seriously, but first and foremost, let the AK Party members know that those who are privileged in this party are those who live with these thoughts in the back of their minds."
