Explosive-laden jet ski found off the coast of Istanbul
A jet ski loaded with explosives, suspected to belong to the Ukrainian navy, has been found on the coast of Çatalca, Istanbul.
Lifeguards on duty at the Akalan Neighborhood beach in Istanbul's Çatalca district spotted a jet ski on the shore in the morning hours.
Upon approaching it, the lifeguards realized its equipment was unusual and notified the gendarmerie teams.
The teams arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection of the jet ski. Based on initial examinations, it is believed that the jet ski, suspected to belong to the Ukrainian navy, drifted and reached the Çatalca coast of Istanbul.

IT CONTAINS EXPLOSIVES
It was also determined that there is explosive material inside the jet ski. After the initial examinations are completed, the sea vehicle will be taken to a military inspection point for forensic analysis.
It was observed that the jet ski was equipped with multiple cameras, military hardware, and explosive material.
