Explosive remarks from Yılmaz Özdil to Gürsel Tekin! 'After this point, not even a provincial chair...'
Journalist Yılmaz Özdil launched a harsh attack on Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency.
Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency by the decision of the Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance, announced in a statement that he would go to the provincial building today to begin his duties.
Following this statement by Tekin, CHP members wanted to gather in front of the provincial presidency building. However, police teams blocked entrances and exits and completely surrounded the building.
The CHP Youth Branches also issued a call to party members last night at 23:00, asking them to come to the front of the provincial presidency. No new statement has come from Tekin from the building, where the police blockade continues.
While the CHP administration reacted harshly to the events, messages of support from opposition parties also arrived one after another.
HARSH OUTBURST FROM ÖZDİL
As reactions grew on social media, one of the most notable comments came from SÖZCÜ columnist Yılmaz Özdil.
In a post on his X account, Özdil stated, "After this point, Gürsel Tekin could not be a provincial chair, he could only be a guard at the provincial police headquarters!"
Gürsel Tekin bu saatten sonra değil il başkanı, anca il emniyetine bekçi olur!
