Surpassing the 500 million dollar threshold for the first time, the industry exported over 300 series to more than 150 countries in 2024. In the countries where they are broadcast, Turkish series have ranked among the top 10 content for 184 weeks over the last four years.

Reaching a large audience across a vast geography including the Middle East, Latin America, the USA, Australia, and Europe, it is estimated that Turkish series have been watched by 1 billion unique viewers worldwide.

With more than 300 domestic productions exported last year, the Turkish TV series industry generated revenue exceeding 500 million dollars. This success demonstrates that Turkish series are receiving great interest not only on television screens but also on digital platforms.
According to Netflix data, 47 Turkish productions have appeared on the weekly Global Top 10 lists since 2021. While Turkish series are among the most-watched content in 92 different countries, thanks to viewer interest, they have ranked among the top 10 most popular content in those countries for 184 weeks within four years.
