'Extraordinary' call from 3 parties: Date set for Turkish Parliament to discuss Instagram ban
The Turkish Parliament's Digital Channels Commission will meet on August 16 to discuss the access ban on Instagram.
CHP, IYI Party, and DEM Party members of the Turkish Parliament's Digital Channels Commission have jointly called for an extraordinary meeting of the commission to discuss the access ban imposed on Instagram.
The meeting date has been set following the call from opposition parties.
The commission will convene on Friday, August 16, at 10:30 AM, chaired by AKP Commission Chairman Hüseyin Yayman, to discuss developments regarding access bans, primarily the one on Instagram.
