Ezel Akay released under judicial control, brother Eren Kazım Akay arrested

In the İnegöl district of Bursa, director Ezel Akay, who was detained following an operation conducted on allegations of growing cannabis at home, has been placed under judicial control. Akay's brother, Eren Kazım Akay, was arrested by the court.

Teams from the İnegöl Gendarmerie Command carried out an operation at the designated address following information that cannabis was being grown at Ezel Akay's residence. It was reported that during the search of the house, cannabis plants believed to be grown with a special setup and a quantity of kubar cannabis were seized.

Following the operation, Ezel Akay and his brother Eren Kazım Akay were detained and taken to the gendarmerie station. The two brothers were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the gendarmerie were completed.

The court ruled for the release of director Ezel Akay under judicial control conditions. Eren Kazım Akay was arrested and sent to prison.
