Factory fire in Sancaktepe

A fire broke out at a factory in Istanbul's Sancaktepe district in the morning hours. The incident occurred around 07:00 on Bengi Street in the Abdurrahmangazi neighborhood.

Dense smoke rose from the factory building due to the fire, which started for reasons yet to be determined. Local residents noticed the smoke and immediately notified the fire department. Numerous fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

Upon receiving the report, fire crews arrived in the area shortly and intervened in the fire, working to prevent the flames from spreading to the surrounding area. The teams made an intense effort to bring the fire under control.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

While the fire crews continue their cooling efforts, police teams have taken security measures in the area. The street was closed to traffic for a while due to the impact of the fire.
