Factory raided for smuggling in İzmir belongs to that AKP figure!

In an operation conducted in İzmir, it emerged that the smuggling scandal at the ASO Gıda Sanayi factory, which operates in the Menderes İTOB Organized Industrial Zone, leads back to Ali Sorgun Özbalcı, a former member of the AKP İzmir Provincial Board of Directors.

According to a report by Birgün newspaper, following the raid on the factory, the company's transactions from the last 10 years have been placed under scrutiny.

Inspections were carried out by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture. The results of the inspection determined that tons of products, which were supposed to be 'organic' for export abroad, were actually 'inorganic'.

15 tons of products were seized and taken into custody.

TRANSFERRED ABROAD THROUGH ILLEGAL MEANS

Following a second tip-off, 4 semi-trucks that entered through the Doğubeyazıt Customs Gate and were determined to belong to the same company were seized by the decision of the Doğubeyazıt Criminal Court of Peace.

According to initial investigations, it is alleged that the products in question were brought into the country with low declarations and that a portion of them were transferred abroad through illegal means.
