False bomb threat on Ankara-Erzincan flight
A passenger plane operating the Ankara-Erzincan route returned to Ankara Esenboğa Airport due to a bomb threat. It was reported that the bomb threat turned out to be false.

According to the information received, the AJet flight VF-4150 took off from Esenboğa Airport at 23:55 to perform its flight to Erzincan.
A short time after takeoff, a bomb threat made against the plane was reported to the pilot.
MOVED TO A SECURE AREA
The plane, which returned to Esenboğa Airport and landed without any issues, was moved to a secure parking area.
Following the evacuation of the passengers, the aircraft was searched by bomb disposal teams and scent-detection dogs. Searches were also conducted on the passengers and their luggage.
As a result of the searches conducted by police teams on the plane, it was understood that the threat was false.
