Famous actor threatened with death: Suspect released

Actor Cenk Kangöz, who went on a ski vacation in Sarıkamış, experienced a dangerous incident along with his friend Murat Evler, İpek Tanrıyar, and the couple's 5-year-old son. The group got into an argument with a shuttle driver while waiting in line to board the shuttle to reach the ski resort.

Kangöz described what happened as follows:

'We got out of the vehicle and said to the shuttle driver, "Why don't you back up a bit, are we stupid here? Why are we waiting in line?" The man first said, "Mind your own business, I'm leaving." We said, "You can't leave, we are waiting, you wait your turn too."

He continued to argue with us, got into his car, and pulled out his gun. He chambered a round and first pointed it at Murat. He cursed at us and said, "I will kill you all." Both Murat and I said at the same time, "Shoot if you can."

THE ARGUMENT ESCALATED QUICKLY

In the argument that escalated quickly, the shuttle driver Z.Y. pulled out his gun and threatened Kangöz and his friends. Following the incident, Z.Y. quickly fled the scene. Kangöz and those with him immediately went to the police station to report what had happened.

Kangöz stated, "The incident is also recorded on the municipality's cameras. The gendarmerie found the man in 2 minutes. They also seized the weapon, but the prosecutor released the man. We will be in Kars for 3 more days. These are people who provide shuttle services to the airport... We are worried because of what happened."
