Ebru Eroğlu, who completed her school as the class valedictorian, shared her experiences in tears and stated the following:

"The fact that both the families of martyrs and our commanders who are currently on active duty called us and said, 'You reminded us of the oath we took,' was what made me the happiest. For example, at the end of the officer's oath we recited, there is no phrase 'How happy is the one who says I am a Turk.' In the days when we took our oath, the phrase 'people of Turkey' had started to be used by certain circles. I added the phrase 'How happy is the one who says I am a Turk' to our Officer's Oath. I am revealing this for the first time for this book."

While the 4 male lieutenants who were dismissed started working at the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in recent months upon the request of Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, class valedictorian Ebru Eroğlu turned down all job offers made to her. It was learned that Eroğlu preferred to wait for the outcome of the legal process for a long time.
