Farah Zeynep Abdullah: 'I am filing about 100 lawsuits, including against Nagehan Alçı'
Farah Zeynep Abdullah has made another statement regarding the Yılmaz Güney controversy. Abdullah announced that she will file about 100 lawsuits, including one against Nagehan Alçı.
Director Yılmaz Güney Actress Farah Zeynep Abdullah, who faced significant backlash for her comments about him—calling him "the man who beat women best in our cinema and was rich and effective in his use of various types of weapons"—and who was subsequently told by the Güney family that they would sue her, stated months later: "I am also filing about 100 lawsuits, including one against Nagehan Alçı, who portrayed what I said as if it were about Kurds. I will donate the compensation money I win to organizations fighting violence against women in the name of the 'UGLY KING'" she said.

In an interview titled "He is a murderer but makes good films, he is a pervert but paints good pictures. We have moved past these 'mad genius' phases," Abdullah said the following:
"I was surprised by this; I didn't make an allegation, I didn't insult anyone, I just stated what happened. I had never witnessed such fanaticism and idolization so closely before. Not only I, but my family as well, were threatened and insulted. I am filing about 100 lawsuits, including one against Nagehan Alçı, who portrayed what I said as if it were about Kurds (laughs). I will donate the compensation money I win to organizations fighting violence against women in the name of the 'UGLY KING'."

Actress Farah Zeynep Abdullah, during a social media debate in September, said about director-actor Yılmaz Güney , "He is the man in our cinema who is best at beating women and is rich and effective in his use of weapons in terms of types of violence," and responded to the Güney family, who announced they would file a lawsuit, by saying, "Ok, but no shooting the judge."
