Constitutional Court (AYM) President Zühtü Arslan's term of office will end on April 20.

Kadir Özkaya, who received 9 out of 15 votes in the Constitutional Court presidential elections held on March 21, will take the presidential seat on April 22.

It has been learned that a farewell ceremony for Zühtü Arslan will be held at the Constitutional Court tomorrow and that the ceremony will be closed to the press.

ÖZKAYA WILL SERVE FOR 2 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS

Since Kadir Özkaya began his membership at the Constitutional Court on December 22, 2014, his 12-year term as a member will end on December 22, 2026. Therefore, Özkaya's 4-year presidential term will end in 2 years and 8 months.
