Fatal accident on the Northern Marmara Motorway: 1 dead, 1 injured
One person lost their life and another was injured in a traffic accident that occurred on the Çatalca section of the Northern Marmara Motorway. The car driven by Emre Yıldızcan struck a barrier; the driver died in the accident, while the businessperson accompanying him was taken to the hospital.
The car driven by Emre Yıldızcan, which was traveling in the direction of Ankara near the Nakkaş neighborhood of the motorway, lost control and struck a barrier. Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
Upon examination by medical teams, it was determined that the driver, Yıldızcan, had lost his life.
Businessperson İsmail Özhan Özmen, who was in the car and injured in the accident, was taken to Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital by ambulance following initial intervention.
